We visited Krüger to discover how Krüger uses innovative technologies to address climate challenges and explore the unique career path of an international employee.
Gladsaxe Kommune, very close to Lyngby, is now the fifth largest business municipality in Denmark, surpassed only by the major cities like Copenhagen and Århus. The number of international employees in Denmark is at the highest number ever at more than 325.000.
In Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune many companies also have increasing numbers of international employees. Why is that? and how can we start improving the conditions and the social environment around international employees and their families and spouses?
According to the Expat Survey 2025 by Copenhagen Capacity, only about 50% of international citizens stay more than five years. The three most common reasons are:

👎 Difficulty in finding employment
👎 Challenge in making Danish friends
That is not good. We need to take action. Our morning-meetings: IINSIGHTS FOR BREAKFAST – a series of morning meetings where international employees, spouses and students meet in informal settings to meet, share knowledge and get updated insights.
